why not today

‘No me des tregua, no me perdones nunca.

¡No me dejes dormir, no me des paz!

Entonces ganaré mi reino, naceré lentamente.

No me pierdas como una música fácil, no seas caricia ni guante;

tállame como un sílex, desespérame.

Guarda tu amor humano, tu sonrisa, tu pelo.

Bernardo Ortiz De Montellano

Take a walk on …

imageDownton, Sol, the city hall in a time some people say it would be demolished. New acquisitions by the chief.

C’mon stay here and walk with me. Honestly the place does not matter, but this time it will be around Madrid..

Old markets, young markets. To follow trends is a must, when there was clothes & stuff now it is food & driks. To go with the flow. Even when you run into a sooo hipster thing, vertical vegetable gardens, soo green the spaniards.
Then those huge weird blocks, pretending to be … I dont know, we have an idiom for that, ‘burro grande ande o no ande’, once again, going with the flow.
To get over the ordinary elevations for a city you have to watch another type of … whatever.

Let me confess I do enjoy the classic buildings… also forms, behaviours… so just some of the pieces. The king, yes, with or without your ‘braguitas rojigualdas’ as Sabina would said, the Prado Museum, where you have to go back, I’m telling you, my dear, with me.
Well, the thing with lions keeping in my hands, I won’t write anything but I miss Parliaments like the english, hungarian or chilean.
But the best of a walk at a place is the real world, not the monumental, what gives me real education , as Goytisolo would say, smell, taste, noises, so that, streets, urban art, places, concerts…and please time for a vermouth?

“I would walk along the quais when
I had finished work or when
I was trying to think something out.
It was easier to think if I was walking
and doing something or seeing people doing something that they understood”.

…hey there, catch the rithm …do dododododododo..
“Candy came from out on the island,
In the backroom she was everybody’s darling,
But she never lost her head
Even when she was giving head
She sayes, hey baby, take a walk on the wild side”.
Lou Reed
